Present there were teachers, researchers and technicians of Pyongyang Agricultural College and Kye Ung Sang Agricultural College of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Je Won Haeju University of Agriculture, Koryo Songgyungwan University, Rice Research Institute and Agrobiology Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science, North Hwanghae Provincial Branch of the Academy of Agricultural Science, Farm Machine Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture and other units.

There was a lecture on the methods of specification and standardization of farm machines, the world trend of growing high yielding rice plants and its prospect.

The presentation was divided into the panels of seed, scientific farming method and farm machinery. The participants heard more than 90 papers.

Among them are the papers of big theoretical and practical significance in carrying out the agricultural policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
