Men's Premier Soccer League for Torch Cup in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- A men's premier soccer league for Torch Cup is going on at the Sosan Football Stadium in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, with 14 teams in attendance. The premier league began on July 27. According to the league results as of August 5, Sobaeksu and Sonbong teams take the lead in A and B groups, respectively with two wins in two matches. 3.5 goals per match were recorded on an average. Its group round robin will last until August 24 and the semi-finals and the finals of the league are to be held on August 26 and 28. |
