No-THAAD Candlelight Actions Staged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Residents of Songju County, North Kyongsang Province of south Korea held a candlelight rally before the building of the county office on Aug. 4 in demand of a halt to THAAD deployment, according to south Korean online paper Voice of People. Speakers at the rally recalled there is news that the regime is to reexamine the site for THAAD. As regards the news, the Songju Committee for Checking Deployment of THAAD clarified its stand that THAAD should never be deployed in any part of south Korea and only then, peace can be preserved, they held. While the rally was under way, the attendants sang songs deriding and censuring Park Geun Hye. |
