S. Korean Puppet Regime Accused of Obstructing Holding of Joint Conference

Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Son Hyong Gun, chairman of the Federation of South Koreans in Japan for Democracy and Reunification who doubles as vice-chairman of the Overseas Side Preparatory Committee for the Joint Conference of Political Parties, Organizations and Individual Personages of the North, the South and Abroad, issued a statement on August 5 to denounce the south Korean puppet regime for obstructing the holding of the joint conference.

The Park regime is not only turning down the proposal of the north while terming it "typical offensive for unification" and "offensive for dialogue" but obstructing the actions of people from all walks of life supporting the joint conference, the statement charged.

The proposal reflected the urgency and validity acceptable to any member of the nation, it said, urging the Park regime stop at once the obstructions.
