They are vociferously justifying their anti-DPRK "sanctions," blustering that "sanctions are most effective," now is not the time to have dialogue but to "concentrate on the sanctions and pressure" and it is necessary to "ratchet up the sanctions on the north to the critical point."

Meanwhile, the ministry is viciously blocking cooperation and exchanges between the NGOs of the north and the south under groundless pretexts.

Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes:

This is a treacherous act to stem the current trend of national reconciliation and unity and improvement of the inter-Korean relations and realize the ambition for achieving "unification of social systems."

The gentries of the above-said ministry are stumbling blocks and cancer-like entity opposed to reunification as they are standing in the way of national reconciliation and unity and improved inter-Korean relations.

Watching such anti-reunification moves of those mandarins, all Koreans once again feel the need to throw these traitors overboard in order to open up a broad avenue to peace and national reunification in unity.

They will never pardon those anti-reunification traitors who go against the trend of the times towards independent reunification.

These traitors can never escape stern judgment by history for perpetrating crimes under the signboard of unification.
