The exhibition, opened on August 8, brings together over 100 companies from the DPRK, China, Russia, Germany, UK, Italy and other countries and regions.

On display at the exhibition are about 100 000 products of over 600 kinds, including machinery, products using natural energy, electric and electronic goods, light industrial goods, foodstuffs, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, building and chemical materials and vehicles.

Ro Yong Nam, director of the Economic Cooperation Department under the Rason City People's Committee, said that the exhibition will show the development of the Rason Economic and Trade Zone.

We will encourage mutual development and prosperity through many-sided and efficient contacts and transactions, he added.

The exhibition will last till August 11.
