They developed a technology of focusing over 90 percent of bunch light on object by adding an auxiliary reflector to the main one.

The new floodlight has been introduced at 100-odd units across the country, proving very economic. It is 95 percent lower than existing ones in power consumption, but 5-10 times brighter.

Its developers were recently awarded a WIPO medal for inventors and certificate.
