The article titled "Peerless patriot, benefactor of national liberation" said that the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung, benefactor of national rebirth, are shedding brilliant rays even though lots of water flew under the bridge and a century is replaced by the new one, adding that he dedicated himself to the country and people.

He, who embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years, formed the Down-with-Imperialism Union with the revolutionaries of the new generation, advanced the line of armed struggle based on the Juche idea, founded the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and staged life-and-death struggle against the Japanese imperialists armed to the teeth even though it had neither state-backing home front nor assistance by a regular army and thus achieved the historic cause of Korea's liberation, it noted.

Stressing that Korea's liberation paved the way to independent development of the Korean people as the masters of their own destiny, for the first time in the national history spanning five-thousand years, it introduced all the democratic reforms enforced after the liberation.

Thanks to Kim Il Sung Korea was liberated and the DPRK is demonstrating its might as a politico-ideological and military power, youth power, satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state, it added.
