The Committee of Reconciliation and Reunification of the Council of Christian Churches had a talk with a religious organization of the north abroad in June.

The ministry branded the above-said fact as an illegal contact and inflicted an unreasonable punishment upon them.

Saying that this is an act to check even the peace movement of the world church, the committee urged the south Korean authorities to immediately stop the sanctions on the non-governmental exchange and opt for the south-north dialogue.
