The principal of the school of Mali said that Aug. 15, 1945 was the day of historical turn for the Korean people, adding:

President Kim Il Sung achieved the historic cause of national liberation by leading to victory the 15-year-long anti-Japanese armed struggle and then founded the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK, the first people's democratic state in the East.

Therefore, Korea, once eclipsed on a world map, was able to proudly emerge as an independent and sovereign state onto the international arena.

The DPRK turned into a powerful socialist country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, which no one dares provoke, under the wise leadership of President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il.

Today the Korean people are dynamically stepping up the building of a powerful socialist country while meeting all challenges of the enemies, rallied close around HE Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.
