Present there were Kim Ki Nam, vice-chairman of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Chun Nam, minister of Culture, officials, creators, artistes, reporters and editors in the fields of literature and arts and media and teachers, researchers and students of science and education institutions.

An Tong Chun, chairman of the C.C., the General Federation of Unions of Art and Literature of Korea, said in a report that the performance of drama "The Sea of Blood" personally organized and guided by the President in Manjiang, Fusong County in August, Juche 25 (1936) was a historic event that proved the big role of the literature and arts in the revolutionary struggle and provided a meaningful landmark in developing and enriching the tradition of the Party's revolutionary literature and arts.

The tradition of the revolutionary literature and arts established by the President and his feats were preserved and glorified as the renaissance of the 20th century under the guidance of leader Kim Jong Il, he noted, adding:

The proud tradition of the anti-Japanese revolutionary literature and arts founded and glorified by the great leaders is being carried forward and developed by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The speakers explained that the immortal classic "The Sea of Blood" is a monumental masterpiece which fully met the basic requirements of the revolutionary literature and arts raised by the Juche-oriented idea of literature and arts in terms of philosophy and profundity of ideological contents and width and depth of depiction of life.

They called upon all officials, creators and artistes to defend the leader and revolution through the mass production of masterpieces and follow the tradition of the struggle waged by artistes of the former generation who served as advancing group and bugler of the Party, true to the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Un.
