Contributors to Modernization Project of Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex Commended

| Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Order of Kim Jong Il, title of DPRK labor hero, Kim Jong Il Prize, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize and other titles of honor, orders and medals were awarded to the workers, scientists, technicians and officials and other working people of relevant units in recognition of their distinguished services rendered for the project of putting the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex on a Juche and modern basis. One person was awarded Order of Kim Jong Il and the title of DPRK labor hero went to five persons, Kim Jong Il Prize to one person, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize to two persons, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to two persons, title of Merited Scientist to one person, title of Merited Technician to one person, title of Merited Designer to one person, title of Merited Melter to one person, title of Merited Builder to one person, title of Merited Driver to one person, Order of National Flag First Class to 28 persons, Order of Labor to 54 persons, Order of National Flag Second Class to 361 persons, Order of National Flag Third Class to 711 persons, Distinguished Military Service Medal to five persons and Merit Medal to 1 311 persons. A relevant decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly was promulgated on Aug. 10. |
