Korea's Liberation Day Marked in Hungary, Slovenia
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- Lectures and film shows took place in Hungary and Slovenia on August 13 on the 71st anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The chairman of the Workers' Party of Hungary said Korea, which was under the military occupation by the Japanese imperialists for over four decades, was liberated under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and since then the new history of Korea started.

In the near future, the DPRK will demonstrate its might as a socialist power, he added.

The chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association and other personages praised Kim Il Sung for defeating the Japanese imperialists and achieving the historic cause of Korea's liberation.

Korean films showing appearance of Pyongyang were shown.
