On display in the venue were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. Also displayed were their works and other books and photos introducing the struggle of service personnel and people of the DPRK.

Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was shown.

Present there were personages of the Swiss preparatory committee for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and other people.

Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, said the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il left the first trace of the Songun revolutionary leadership by giving the historic field guidance to the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army on August 25, 1960.

Generalissimo Kim Il Sung liberated Korea from the brutal and colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists on August 15, 1945, paving the way for resurrection of the nation, he said, and went on:

The Korean people grandly celebrate August 25 as Day of Songun and August 15 as day of national liberation.
