Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, said this in a statement on August 15.

Noting that August 15 marks the 71st anniversary of Korea's liberation from the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists, he went on:

President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people, was born at a time when Korea was under the colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists and embarked upon the road of revolution in his early years and fathered the Juche idea.

The President achieved Korea's liberation under the banner of Juche and led the Korean revolution to victory.

The Korean people could win the Fatherland Liberation War against the U.S. imperialists' invasion and build a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence as they struggled with the Juche idea as guidelines.

The Korean people have achieved eye-opening successes as they advanced the revolution and construction with the Juche idea as guiding idea.

If the DPRK had depended on others, it would neither have protected socialism nor become satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear weapons state.
