S. Korean Opposition Parties Declare "Agreement" on Sexual Slavery for Imperial Japanese Army Null and Void
Pyongyang, August 19 (KCNA) -- South Korean opposition parties are growing vocal calling for the nullification of the "agreement" on the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, according to media including News 1, Segye Ilbo and Kukmin Ilbo of south Korea.

A parliamentary spokesman from the Minju Party in a commentary said that the "agreement" unilaterally made by the regime without seeking understanding of victims is not understandable from the viewpoint not only of victims but of the people.

A spokesman for the Minju Party noted that the only way of solving the issue of sexual slavery is for the Japanese government to make apology and own a legal and moral responsibility for it. He expressed the will to make efforts to probe the truth behind the "agreement" on the issue of sexual slavery in a secret room in a rough-and-ready manner through regular sessions of the "National Assembly" and inspection of administration and let Japan make a sincere apology and reparation for its wrongdoings.

A parliamentary spokesman for the Kukmin Party in a commentary urged the south Korean and Japanese authorities to clarify the stand on the report that one billion yen paid by the Japanese government was premised on the removal of girl statue.
