Chinese Paper Reports No-THAAD Actions in S. Korea
Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The Chinese People's Daily on August 17 carried an article titled "South Korean people protest against decision on THAAD deployment through head-shaving, it may go to extreme phase".

The article referred in detail to the strong protest actions waged by inhabitants in Songju County, North Kyongsang Province of south Korea against THAAD deployment moves of the puppet authorities.

It went on:

An inhabitant in Songju County expressed the will to do more extreme thing than head-shaving if it is possible to prevent THAAD deployment.

Songju County residents say that their peaceable life is disturbed by the decision on THAAD deployment.

If THAAD is deployed in Songju County, it will mean south Korea admitting itself to be a military colony of the U.S., they said, calling upon south Korean people to get united firmly and vigorously launch protest actions against THAAD deployment.

The "government" said it would reconsider THAAD deployment in other area in Songju County, but the inhabitants said that the decision on THAAD deployment itself was wrong and THAAD should not be deployed in south Korea.

If Songju County decisively rejects THAAD deployment, no THAAD can be deployed in south Korea, they stressed.
