The prevailing situation requires all countries and nations to turn out in the struggle for frustrating the imperialists' aggression and infringement upon their sovereignty and achieving global independence.

The NAM, a force for peace against war, has an important duty to perform in accomplishing the cause of global independence.

The NAM is, in essence, the movement for making the whole world independent. The cause of global independence can make a triumphant advance only when the non-aligned countries further expand the NAM while holding their position and creditably discharging their role under the situation where there exist the imperialist forces keen on aggression and war in the world.

The article calls on the non-aligned countries to fight against the imperialists to the last for themselves, their future and global peace under the uplifted banner of independence against imperialism.

The DPRK will make every effort to develop the NAM by firmly joining hands with the non-aligned countries in the future, too, concludes the article.
