Korea's Liberation Day Marked in Mauritania, Bangladesh
Pyongyang, August 23 (KCNA) -- Media of Mauritania and Bangladesh carried a special write-up and aired a Korean film on the 71st anniversary of Korea's liberation.

An internet newspaper of Mauritania on August 15 carried an article titled "Immortal exploits for historic cause of national liberation" illustrated with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

Referring to the feats he performed to liberate Korea, it said that he put an end to over 40 years of grim colonial rule by the Japanese imperialists, rescued the destiny of the country and people and opened up a new era of the national prosperity.

Internet newspapers and internet news of Mauritania carried the similar contents illustrated with the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung.

ATN TV Radio of Bangladesh on August 14 said that he led the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to victory and liberated Korea.

Noting that the Korean people were significantly celebrating the day of liberation, it screened Korean film "Pyongyang Today".
