Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a commentary in this regard:

The drill which will last till early in September is aimed to acquire the capability for making a surprise preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK by "combined forces" and carry out multi-phased scenario for invading the DPRK including operations for "providing conditions to ignite a war", "deterring enemy's aggression", "taking initiative", "dominating battlefields" and "occupying Pyongyang" and "support to government rule".

As the U.S. bellicose forces have become undisguised in their ambition to invade the DPRK, its revolutionary armed forces are compelled to escalate their military counteractions to foil it.

However a country is just and fair-minded, it is bound to fall victim to the strong if it is weak. This is a lesson taught by history that true peace will be preserved only when one has strong muscle.

Once the Korean People's Army equipped with nuclear weapons of justice receives an order, it will turn into a heap of scrap iron in a moment all the latest ware hardware of the U.S. imperialists including nuclear strategic bombers and reduce to a sea in flames their bases in Asia-Pacific for invading the DPRK.

The U.S. madcap nuclear saber-rattling on the Korean peninsula would only invite a merciless nuclear retaliation and precipitate its final doom.
