Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says:

It is ridiculous that the Park group, keen on escalating the confrontation with the compatriots in the north, are busy with false propaganda, suffering from hallucinations about "effective sanctions against the north".

The "effective sanctions against the north" touted by the puppet forces are no more than a wild rumor spread by the fools utterly ignorant of their rival.

The U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces' persistent "sanctions" against the DPRK are aimed at shaking the faith of its army and people in socialism and finally bringing down its dignified social system.

No "sanctions" by hostile forces can work on the DPRK. Its service personnel and people have strong consciousness of independence and spirit of self-reliance.

Nothing is more foolish and stupid than calculating the hostile forces will pull down such fortress of independence and invulnerable bulwark through such "sanctions".

The puppet forces' persistent "sanctions" against the DPRK will only lead to disgrace and ruin.

The Park group's trumpeting about "effective sanctions against the north" only sounds like a dirge for those whose days are numbered.
