Kaesong, August 24 (KCNA) -- Various type explosives disclosing massacres committed by the U.S. imperialists were found in Kaesong, a DPRK city near the Military Demarcation Line. Of late, dozens of U.S.-made butterfly bombs, mortar shells and grenades were found in the area near the project for remodeling the Janamsan Pleasure Ground. The butterfly bombs were identified as the ones dropped by the U.S. imperialist air bandits in a bid to completely destroy the historical and cultural relics in areas of Kaesong including Nam Gate during the Fatherland Liberation War. Several grenades were found in the site for remodeling the Kaesong Plaza. More than half a century has passed since the ceasefire but the explosives dropped by the U.S. imperialists are still threatening lives and properties of the Korean people. Photos of the newly found explosives are displayed at the Kaesong City House of Class Education. |
