DPRK FM Delegation Meets Guinean Minister of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Compatriots
Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry headed by Department Director Ho Yong Bok who visited the Republic of Guinea met and had a talk with Makale Camara, minister of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Compatriots of Guinea, on Aug. 22.

The director said that President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il extended unselfish support and solidarity to the struggle for building a new society in Guinea.

The director stressed the need to develop the relations between the two countries on a higher stage in the future.

Makale Camara said that the relations between Guinea and the DPRK were special ones with a long history and tradition provided by the preceding leaders of the two countries.

Makale Camara went on:

The two countries have developed the friendly and cooperative relations in the politics, economy, culture and all other fields and these relations have been maintained today.

Makale Camara expressed the will to develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and further strengthen support and solidarity with the DPRK.

Meanwhile, talks between Ho Yong Bok and the secretary general of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Compatriots of Guinea were held on the same day.

Exchanged at the talks were beneficial views on the issue of boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with a long history and tradition and other issues of mutual concern.

During the visit to Guinea the director separately met with the minister of Agriculture and the minister of Commerce of Guinea and had conversations for developing the bilateral relations in various fields.
