The paper carried a picture of Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un standing together and a photo of Kim Jong Un.

In an article titled "Eternal sun of Songun Korea" the paper said:

Aug. 25, 1960 was a significant day when Kim Jong Il visited the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards 105th Tank Division of the Korean People's Army and thus started his Songun revolutionary leadership.

He inherited the idea and line of attaching importance to military affairs and thus comprehensively applied the Songun politics and led the drive for defending socialism to victory.

He elucidated the validity and originality of the Songun-based revolutionary line in various works including "The Songun-Based Revolutionary Line Is a Great Revolutionary Line of Our Era and an Ever-Victorious Banner of Our Revolution".

He provided field guidance to one KPA unit after another with the firm faith and will that one can defend socialism only when one relies on one's own powerful military strength.

So he bolstered up the military muscle in every way.

Thanks to his energetic Songun leadership, the DPRK has ranked itself among political and ideological powers and military powers and an eternal foundation for building a powerful socialist country was laid, bringing earlier the future of powerful Korea.

Kim Jong Il will live forever as the sun of Songun Korea.
