Citing facts to expose that before the liberation of Korea, the Japanese imperialists made desperate efforts to exterminate the Korean nation through the medieval repressive rule, the paper said for the Korean people the liberation was not only the nation's rebirth but a historic event that brought about a turn in their destiny from slaves to masters.

The great Comrade Kim Il Sung led the 15 year-long anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and thus achieved the cause of Korea's liberation and successfully realized the cause of building the party, army and state, it noted, and went on:

The liberation helped build the socialist system centered on the popular masses, invincible socialist state unfazed by any storm.

Socialist Korea was built on the basis of its original guiding idea from the beginning and has adhered to the principle of Juche in ideology, independence in politics, self-support in economy and self-reliance in national defense.

The DPRK has turned into an invincible power no one dares provoke and been admired by the international community as it has firmly defended its ideology, social system and cause for several decades, not taking even a step backward on the road of socialism chosen by itself.
