Proposal for Substitute Site for THAAD Deployment Opposed

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- The Action for Checking THAAD Deployment in south Korea held a press conference outside the building of the puppet Ministry of Defense on August 23 opposing the proposal for a substitute site for THAAD deployment, according to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News.

Speakers said it has been confirmed that the ministry was deeply involved in the proposal for the third site for THAAD deployment.

They noted that countermeasures taken by neighboring countries and military tension increasing on the Korean peninsula after the decision on THAAD deployment prove that the deployment is threatening security.
