The youth movement in the DPRK has developed along the road of victory and glory under the loving care of the peerlessly great men. Carrying forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il had paid deep attention to the youth issue and made a great contribution to the development of the youth movement with his policy of valuing the youth.

A head of a delegation of the Vietnam Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union noted that leader Kim Jong Il put forward young people as the forerunners of the era and the most viable unit of the society, adding: The youth in the DPRK rendered distinguished services in the struggle to build monumental edifices under his leadership. It can be seen only in the DPRK that the leader boundlessly loves the youth and the youth upholds the cause of the leader with loyalty.

The first secretary of the National Committee of the Union of Young Communists of Cuba stressed that true to leader Kim Jong Il's Songun politics, the youth in the DPRK played a big role in advancing socialism victoriously. He went on:

They are filled with great pride and self-confidence that they are upholding the respected Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the supreme leader of the party, state and army.

The deputy secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union said:

President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il had shown boundless loving care for the youth. Today, the youth in the DPRK are vigorously advancing toward the future, filled with confidence and optimism.

Their working style comes to be a model for the world youth. The Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League is making a great contribution to the development of the world youth movement.

The general-secretary of the World Federation of Democratic Youth said that the youth problem becomes a serious social concern in the world, but it has been successfully settled in the DPRK.

Today, the youth movement in the DPRK serves as a model in the world youth movement, he noted.
