S. Korean Body Blasts Security Authorities' Suppression

Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- Members of civic and social organizations of south Korea on Aug. 24 held a press conference before the building of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutor's Office in demand of a halt to the suppression of the representative of the "Worker's Book", a social organization, who is under investigation on the charge of violating the "Security Law", according to a south Korean paper. .

On July 28, the puppet security authorities searched his house on charges that he collected and kept rare social scientific books and distributed them to those who wished to read them.

Speakers at the press conference held that most of those books confiscated by the security authorities are just the same as those displayed at the public library.

They demanded the security authorities halt the fascist suppression and repeal the "Security Law".
