Action for Checking THAAD Deployment Staged by Kimchon Citizens

| Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- A rally took place in Kimchon, North Kyongsang Province under the sponsorship of the Kimchon Committee for Struggle against THAAD, according to the south Korean internet paper Voice of People. Attending it were more than 10 000 citizens. Speakers said THAAD should not be deployed in any place of south Korea. A resolution vowing to check THAAD deployment was read out at the rally. Then, the mayor of Kimchon and co-chairpersons of the Kimchon Committee for Struggle against THAAD had their heads shaven in protest against THAAD deployment. |
