U.S. Accused of Instigating Japan to Evade Its Past Crimes

Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- The "Washington Nabi", an organization active for the settlement of the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, issued a statement outside the Japanese Embassy in Washington on August 24.

The statement denounced the U.S. for helping the Japanese government evade the legal blame for the war crimes.

The sincere settlement of the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army should start from the Japanese government's reflection, admittance of legal responsibility and its implementation, the statement said.

It underlined the need to erect a girl statue for peace in Washington.
