Talks between Vice-Chairman of C.C., WPK and Deputy Secretary General of ANC Held
Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between Ri Su Yong, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and the deputy secretary general of the African National Congress of South Africa (ANC) on Aug. 26.

Ri Su Yong visited the Republic of South Africa, heading a delegation of the WPK.

Noting the relations between the two parties have a long history, the deputy secretary general deeply thanked the WPK for its support for the ANC.

Whatever the situation, the ANC will always remember the Korean people who proactively supported the struggle of the people of South Africa, and fully support the WPK in its struggle for defending the sovereignty of the country, the deputy secretary general said.

We will positively learn from the experience of the WPK which achieved the invincible single-minded unity that is stronger than nuclear weapon, the deputy secretary general added.

Earlier, Ri Su Yong had a talk with the second deputy general secretary of the South African Communist Party.

Noting his party is striving to build socialism, the deputy general secretary expressed the will to boost the relations with the WPK, foiling the moves of the hostile forces seeking division of the progressive parties.
