U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drills Accused by Indian Organization

| Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- We strongly protest against the U.S. which is once again inviting the danger of a nuclear war through the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises against the DPRK with south Korea with huge war means in overseas bases involved. The All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association said this in a statement released on Aug. 22. The statement said: The large-scale joint military exercises for aggression being staged by the U.S. in collusion with south Korea are a grave military provocation aimed at launching a preemptive nuclear strike at the DPRK from A to Z and a challenge to regional peace and security. The recent military exercises are an unpardonable crime driving the situation on the Korean peninsula to the brink of a war. Unless a total halt is put to the aggressive U.S.-south Korea joint military drills, nobody can think about peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in the region. We extend firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for reunifying the country without any interference by outsiders together with the world peace and justice-loving progressive people. We strongly urge the U.S. and south Korea to immediately stop the joint military drills for aggression. |
