S. Korean Body Calls for Peace on Korean Peninsula

| Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- The Emergency Situation Measure Council of the south Korean Council of Christian Churches published a declaration on the situation for peace on the Korean peninsula on August 25, according to CBS of south Korea. The organization demanded the authorities ensure peace in Northeast Asia including the Korean peninsula and regard it as the most primary task to improve the south-north relations. It urged the authorities not to put down the efforts for peaceful reunification. |
