The evening gala started with the playing of the song "March of Korean Youth".

The participants danced to the tune of such songs as "We Sing of Our Country Holding the Leader in High Esteem" in deep reverence for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who ushered in a new history of the Juche-oriented Korean youth movement and brought into full bloom the great flower garden of prioritizing and loving the youth on this land.

Reflected on their faces were pride and self-esteem as members of the young vanguard in the Songun era who dash ahead like the wind along the orbit of the Korean revolution, rallied close around Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Such songs as "We Like Ardent Life" resounded forth, revving up the festive atmosphere.
