Korean Photo, Book, Handicraft Exhibition Opens in Peru

| Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- A DPRK photo, book and handicraft exhibition opened with due ceremony in Lima City, Peru on Aug. 22 on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership and the 68th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK. Displayed at the venue were photos of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un. On display there were also their works, books on their greatness, photos and books introducing the Korean army and people ushering in a golden age in building a socialist power, handicraft showing excellent traditions and brilliant culture of the Korean nation. It was followed by a film show at which the Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was shown. The exhibition goes on till Sep. 10. |
