According to data available at the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, hydro-power stations across the country have fulfilled their production quotas over 107 percent on a daily average in the on-going 200-day campaign.

Taking the lead in power production are Thaechon, Hochongang, Jangjingang, Jangjagang, Kanggye Youth, Sodusu and Taedonggang power stations.

In the DPRK, hydro-power stations play a big role in power production.
