The north side preparatory committee in a statement denounced the desperate efforts of the pro-U.S. Park Geun Hye group laying a stumbling block in the way of the opening of a nationwide meeting for national reunification, the joint statement said, and continued:

The Park Geun Hye regime of south Korea termed the DPRK's proposal for the joint conference a "camouflaged peace offensive" and asserted that the "north's nuclear dismantlement is a top priority".

The Park group are working with bloodshot eyes to "tighten the south Korea-U.S. alliance" rather than reconciliation and cooperation with the fellow countrymen.

The Park group's categorical shunning of the proposal made by the fellow countrymen to work together for reunification clearly proves once again the Park group are the horde of despicable traitors who neither want to see the improvement of the north-south relations nor are concerned about peace and reunification on the Korean peninsula.

No force can block the just cause of all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.
