The young Koreans, who carried forward the ideology and spirit of the young vanguard who fought against the Japanese imperialists in the forests of Mt. Paektu, displayed matchless heroism and self-sacrificing spirit during the last Fatherland Liberation War and the social revolution of two stages.

It was the Korean youth, successors to the lineage of Mt. Paektu, who acted vanguard in the Chollima movement and the drive for effecting a revolutionary upswing in the periods of postwar rehabilitation and construction and socialist construction and held higher the red banner when socialism collapsed in different countries.

The history of the Korean youth movement precisely means the course in which the youth power without an equal in the world emerged with the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu as a driving force and brave fighters have been trained to accomplish the cause of the Juche revolution.

The tradition of devotedly defending the leader created in Mt. Paektu is being steadfastly carried forward by the young Korean people today.

The revolutionary idea of fighting against imperialism and the idea of prioritizing the army that ran high in the forests of Mt. Paektu are deeply etched in the hearts of our young people as their firm faith.

If the U.S. imperialists unleash a war on this land again, the Korean youth will wipe out the enemies in the same spirit as displayed by the defenders of the country in the 1950s so that there would be no one to sign the surrender document. This is the firm will of the young Koreans to annihilate the enemies.

The Korean youth are now exalting their honor as giants of creation and riders of Mallima, cherishing deep in mind the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and the spirit of blizzards of Paektu.

They are playing the role of pace-setters in the times in creating socialist culture and morality.

"We Will Go to Mt. Paektu" and "Let's Not Abandon Revolutionary Faith Though One May Die" are the theme song and the song of advance and victory of the Korean youth steadfastly carrying forward the lineage of Juche.
