Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, said in his report that the speech made by Kim Jong Un at the 9th Congress of the youth league serves as a militant banner powerfully encouraging the youth league to perform its honorable mission and duty as the reserve force, advance force and wing of the Party in the efforts to carry out the decision made at the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

He called on all the youth to be reliable young vanguard of the WPK dynamically advancing along the road of the cause of the Juche revolution, the cause of Songun revolution forever under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, holding high the banner of modeling the whole youth league on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

He also stressed the need for the youth to reliably defend the socialist homeland with the arms of Mt. Paektu by carrying forward the spirit of defending the country which was displayed in the 1950s actively contribute to carrying out the Party's line of simultaneously developing the two fronts and thus become dependable advance force of Songun revolution who are making a breakthrough in the great war for national reunification in the van.

He also underlined the need for the youth to steadily create new legendary tales about heroic youth on the principle of giving priority to self-development, holding high the slogan of "Let us fully demonstrate the resourcefulness and gallantry of the heroic youth in the general offensive for building a powerful socialist country!" and thus enter the gate of a socialist power at any cost.

The reporter called on all the youth league organizations and the youth to build thousands-fold, tens of thousands-fold fortresses and shields devotedly safeguarding Kim Jong Un and dynamically advance for the completion of the socialist cause of Juche, for modeling the youth league on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and for the bright future of the youth power.
