U.S.-S. Korea Joint Military Drill Slammed in Bangladesh

| Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- The Communist Party of Bangladesh (Marxist-Leninist), the Bangladesh People's League, the Bangladeshi preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea, the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy on Aug. 25 released a joint statement denouncing the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises being staged by the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet war maniacs. The statement said: The said military drill, which the U.S. is staging with south Korea by mobilizing all kinds of nuclear strike means, is to invade the DPRK. It shows that the U.S. plan for a pre-emptive nuclear attack on the DPRK has entered the reckless phase of practical implementation. We strongly demand the U.S. stop the military drill, which may trigger off a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, and roll back its hostile policy towards the DPRK. We express full solidarity for the just cause of the Korean people loving peace. |
