"Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works," Vol. 14 Published in DPRK
Pyongyang, August 31 (KCNA) -- "Complete Collection of Kim Jong Il's Works," Vol. 14 was published in the DPRK.

The book contains 93 works including talks, speeches and concluding speeches made by leader Kim Jong Il in the period from May to December, Juche 59 (1970).

The works clarify the issues which serve as guidelines for the workers in the field of film art in living up with loyalty to the deep political trust and care of President Kim Il Sung.

The works set forth the tasks of the all party officials to bring about a revolutionary turn in work method and style including the issue of evaluating people with their loyalty to the President and ability and their present life as main criteria and doing the work with people prudently with a warm human touch.

They also give answers to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the Juche-based construction of literature and arts including the need for the creators and artistes in the field of literature and arts to choose the matters of social significance as seeds and make profound portrayal of people's course of revolutionization and successfully applying the method of creating socialist realism in the creation of works.

It also contains works dealing with the idea that the service personnel should train their physical bodies and intensify training, acquire marksmanship of never missing targets and thus honorably fulfill the sacred duty for defending the country.

There are in the book works indicating tasks and ways of rapidly developing the nation's sports including the need for the sports field to firmly establish the Party's unitary ideological system and training lots of promising players.

Contained in the book are works giving answers to practical issues arising in socialist construction including the issue of giving wide publicity to the feats of the President, the issue of turning the youth organizations into viable and militant organizations and the issue of properly preserving historical and cultural relics.
