United Actions of Trade Unions Called for in South Korea

Pyongyang, September 1 (KCNA) -- Trade unions of south Korea held a seminar in Seoul on Aug. 30 under the sponsorship of the Jon Thae Il Foundation and called for the unity of the working circle, according to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News.

Stressing the need for the workers to get united, the speakers said that split between the Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Trade Unions and between the full-time workers and the part-time workers should not be allowed.

The solidarity and unity of the labor movement is required for weathering the present crisis, they said.
