On display at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were books and photos introducing the struggle of the army and people of the DPRK.

Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" was shown.

Present at the events were figures of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea and other masses.

The participants laid bouquets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Dag Norum, chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, said that Kim Il Sung led the protracted and arduous anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory and thus liberated the country and founded the DPRK, helping the Korean people become the master of the country for the first time in history.

Thanks to the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the DPRK could defeat the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world in the Fatherland Liberation War, win the brilliant victory and turn into the socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, he noted.

Today the DPRK is waging a dynamic struggle for building a socialist power and reunifying the country while meeting all challenges of the imperialist allied forces under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the idea and cause of the great leaders without an inch of deflection, he said, adding: All successes in the DPRK are greatly encouraging the world progressive people.
