The president in the message extended warm greetings and congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK on behalf of the government and people of India and on his own behalf on the founding anniversary of the DPRK.

The relations between the two countries are characterized by traditional fraternity and friendship, the message said.

It expressed pleasure over the fact that the two governments are cooperating in boosting bilateral relations in various fields in line with the mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries.

India wished for peace and stability in the region and wanted all of pending issues to be solved through dialogue as soon as possible, the message added.

It most sincerely wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and the people of the friendly DPRK steady progress and prosperity.
