According to the Aug. 30 decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, the prize was awarded to Kim Yang Gon, Kang Kwan Ju, Ri Jun Song, Kim Ryu Hwan, Kim Yong Gwan, Ri Jong Man, Jong Jin Hwan, Ho Hong Sik, Ri U Gap, Jong Kyu Jin and Chae Chang Guk.

They dedicated their all to the sacred struggle to build a dignified and prosperous reunified power on this land, upholding the line of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on national reunification.
