42nd National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize Closes

| Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- The 42nd National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize closed with due ceremony at the hall of the youth league on Tuesday. The contest was held, divided into senior secondary, junior secondary and primary schools. They competed in 17 events including basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, speed skating, Taekwon-Do and Ssirum (Korean wrestling). Pyongyang City came first in team standings. 45 players were selected as April 18 best players. |
