The Korean Taekwon-Do Committee has directed big efforts to the work for disseminating Taekwon-Do among schoolchildren.

Recently there was a training course for sports teachers from different schools in Pyongyang City.

According to Pak Song Ryong, an instructor of the committee, the course, divided into theory and practice, focused mainly on the basic movements of Taekwon-do patterns and self-defence art, offensive and defensive by hands and foot.

Also instructors of the committee conducted guidance over Taekwon-Do groups at different schools.

After the course, its participants expressed their will to run the Taekwon-Do groups at their schools in an effective way and intensify the dissemination of Taekwon-Do among schoolchildren.
