The participants heard more than 570 scientific research and technical innovation successes.

The Communication Industrial Institute of the Latest Science Institute of Kim Il Sung University, Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, Sunchon Chemical Complex, Electronic Engineering Department of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Nature Energy Institute of the State Academy of Sciences and other units won top places and over 50 units including the Chollima Steel Complex, the Agricultural Nano Technology Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory and Sinuiju Chicken Farm placed first.

Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Thae Bok, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Tok Hun, vice-premier, Kim Sung Du, chairman of the Education Commission, Jang Chol, president of the State Academy of Sciences, officials concerned, scientists, technicians, teachers and three-revolution team members.
