U.S. Moves to Additionally Deploy Nuclear Subs Spark New Arms Race
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The U.S. Navy is planning to induct newly built Virginia-class attack nuclear-powered submarine Illinois into the U.S. Pacific Fleet next month, according to Yonhap News of south Korea September 2.

The U.S. Navy is mulling letting this sub loaded with attack weapons including Tomahawk start its operation from next year.

It is also planning to additionally get five nuclear-powered subs like Illinois in the future and start the project of increasing the number of missile launchers of these warships and firing range from 2019.

The U.S. is massively deploying subs in the Asia-Pacific and driving the situation to dangerous phase.

What should not be overlooked is that world media warned the U.S. massive deployment of nuclear submarines might put Northeast Asia in the whirlwind of arms race of nuclear subs.

The U.S. tries to browbeat the DPRK with nuclear subs, but it is a foolish dream.
