S. Korean Religious Body Declares Action against THAAD Deployment

| Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Ronal Buddhism, a south Korean religious body, made public a statement on Sept. 5 to declare an action against THAAD deployment, according to south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People. It said that THAAD deployment is by no means for peace on the Korean peninsula and in Northeast Asia. Noting that there is no place in south Korea for THAAD deployment, it called on religionists to pool their efforts to check the authorities' moves for its deployment. It declared the formation of the Ronal Buddhist measure committee for the withdrawal of THAAD and the Songju and Kimchon regional measure committees. |
